We are a non-for-profit organization established to plant Churches, and train Christian disciples in Uganda. We currently have five small churches in the district of Kamuli. The organization is administered from Kristiansand in Norway, and our funding comes from gifts from our supporters in Norway.
We see it as our mission, not only to lead people to Christ, but also as the Great Commission tells us in Matthew 28, baptize and teach them to obey His commands. The teaching is done through the common Sunday meetings where all the Churches participate simultaniously, but we also have meetings throughout the week with the individual Apostolic Centers with prayers, choir and teaching. Our mission is to equip God’s people for the work of serving and building up the body of Christ as described in Ephesians 4. We want to see the Lord pour out his Spirit upon the people in our Churches. We want to train disciples filled with the Holy Spirit and his gifts, power and authority.
We also emphasize on training and equipping our leaders. We have a training center called “Shiloh”, where leaders from the different Apostolic Centers meet on Mondays for leadership training. Meeting other leaders in person strenghtens their relationship, and through fellowship a network is formed. Margaret teaches them from Norway through Whereby and phone most of the time, but she also travels to Uganda from time to time.
